Rafting is an adrenaline-pumping and fun activity, but it needs to be accompanied by serious attention to safety. Here are some tips to ensure your rafting experience is safe and comfortable at Kaliwatu Rafting:
Pre-Rafting:
Safety Equipment: Use helmets and life jackets properly according to the guide’s instructions to ensure safety during the rafting.
Safety Briefing: Pay attention and follow all instructions in the briefing, including how to sit, use paddles, and emergency measures.
Listen to the Guide: Obey the directions of an experienced guide who understands the river conditions and currents. This will increase your safety and enjoyment.
Clothing: Wear comfortable clothes that are not heavy when wet. Avoid jeans as they will get wet and hinder movement.
River Conditions: Kaliwatu Rafting ensures safety by only rafting when river conditions are safe. Rafting will be postponed if the water level rises more than 40 cm and does not drop within 1 hour.
While On Board:
Avoid Panic: If you fall off the raft, follow safety procedures and try to stay close to the boat or paddle.
Stay with the Group: Always stay close to the group and do not attempt to raft alone.
Physical Condition and Health: Make sure you are in good shape before rafting. Inform your guide if you have any health conditions.
